Am I too young to wear heels?

I'm 14 and I want to order these really cute heels on ebay but I'm worried people will think I look silly or trying too hard to look grow up. A lot of people think I'm at least 16 or older so I think I could wear them without looking like a little kid. & I was reading this thing and it said teenage girls shouldn't be wearing high heels until they're at least in high school. I'm gonna be a freshman in a couple of months. These are grey suede ankle booties that are at least three inches high. If I were to order them I would make sure not to look slutty when I wore them, I would look fashionable, but even then I will look a lot older. What do I do, do I order them or no?
