Have you sometimes wished the world hadn't changed so much?

Even though we're all benefiting from modern technology like the computer and the internet, we likewise have to deal with global warming, terrorism, drug abuse problem, child prostitution, etc. Wouldn't it be great if the world had taken a slower pace?
