Pulling Up Carpet, Installing Hardwood?

The new wooden floors now days is really simple to install, they just lock together. They will show you how at the store. I'm fairly sure you can lay it right over the tiles, because the wooden floor is what they call a floating floor! It just sites on top of the old floor. There should be a thin foam like baier you lay down first then the floor goes over it.
